Welcome to Love Your Mama’s Trucker Hat Bar!
We’ve been pressing custom made trucker hats since January 2024.
In-store or at our events, you can make your own trucker hat by selecting patches, a hat color and working with us on your design. Not to brag, but we’ve got a good eye with placement and select really intentionally designed patches, from clever sayings to beautiful designs from a lot of small business artists. In August of 2024, we began producing our own patches that are also available at the hat bar.
We press daily in the store, during our open hours, first come, first serve. You don’t need to make an appointment or call ahead. We also travel and pop-up at other businesses, events, markets, corporate events, employee appreciation parties, fundraisers and more.
Pricing is $30 for a hat and two patches, with additional add-on patches available and priced individually (usually $1-9). Final sale - no refunds, no returns.

FAQ:
Q: Do we need to make an appointment?
A: No, our store is first come, first serve with making hats as are our public pop-ups.
Q: How long does it take?
A: The actual assembling, pressing, cooling and checking patches process is about five minutes. The other part of the process is your selection of patches and hat color, which can take some people anywhere from five minutes to an hour. That part depends on you!
Q: Are your patches and hat colors online?
A: Not at this time. We carry so many patches (on average over 150) and hat colors and go through them or rotate them so quickly, logistically it's really difficult to keep up with online. We do post our current patch selections on Instagram regularly so take a peek

Q: I want to host a private party at my house, how do I do so?
A: While we're grateful you want to do this, private residence hat bars (like a girls night for example) are something we only do if it can truly fit into the schedule, staff is available and you meet the minimum number of hats. We'd love to be a part of your birthday party, bachelorette weekend, etc. if we can make it work, so please reach out with your details to hello@loveyourmamaoc.com or the contact form here.
Q: How does it work?
A: You select a hat color and patches from our options, together we'll design the patch arrangement on the hat and then we press them onto the hat in the moment so you're leaving with a finished product. We show you the design before we press it for your approval before the patches get adhered, so what you see before we press is how the hat will be. The hats are final sale.
Q: How long do the patches stay on?
A: We've been doing this since January 2024 and our personal hats from that time frame are still holding strong. That being said, every patch is different with the shape, details, type of glue used on the back, etc. We wait for the hat to fully cool before you leave so that we can check to make sure the glue on the patches was fully heated and adhering. Occasionally we supplement with glue if needed. We do our best to make sure every patch is as good as it can be adhered before it leaves our hands and goes home with you, but we cannot always predict what each patch will do/how it will perform months from now. When we have a patch that does not perform well, we immediately stop carrying it to avoid future issues.
Q: Can you make a hat anytime?
A: Unless we have something happening where we announce that we are not pressing hats that day in the store, which is extremely rare, we are making hats when we are open during regular business hours. Please arrive 20 minutes before closing if you plan to make a hat.
Q: Do you have special event or group pricing for any events?
A: Please reach out to hello@loveyourmamaoc.com or the contact form here and give us the details of the event, such as how many hats you expect to need made, the time and date, the location of the event and if one/two persons will be paying for the entire thing.
Q: Where are you located?
A: Love Your Mama is located in downtown Berlin, Maryland behind The Sterling Tavern Restaurant, next to Palmers Appliances, directly next to Soundstorm Records and share a parking lot with House and Honeywater Candles. The address is 2 Stevenson Lane #1B, Berlin, Maryland 21811. Our store hours are Monday-Saturday 11ish to 5pm and Sundays 9:30ish to 4pm.
Q: Can I bring my own patches to press onto a hat?
A: If you have a patch that means something to you and are mixing your patch or two with ours, we will happily add them in and it will be priced the same as we charge ($30 for a hat and two patches). If you'd like to get the hat from us, add only your own patches and have us design and press it, it will be $20.
Q: Can I just buy patches?
A: Yes, they're individually priced.
Q: How much will it cost me?
A: Our base fee is $30 for a hat and two patches. Additional patches range from $1-$9. The total and final price depends on what additional patches you select and how many you add on.
